About Runner's Picks
Honest running gear and fitness tech reviews — by runners, for runners who want to know what actually works.
What We Do
We compare running gear head-to-head. Not just "here are 10 good watches" — but "here's exactly which one to buy for YOUR goals." GPS watches, running shoes, training apps, recovery tools, earbuds, and nutrition — all tested and compared with real runners in mind.
How We're Different
Unlike single-product review sites that write 10,000 words about one gadget, we focus on comparisons and decisions. The question isn't "is the Garmin Forerunner 265 good?" (it is). The question is "should YOU buy the 265, or is the COROS Pace 4 better for your goals?"
We answer that question for every product category.
Our Process
- Research — We aggregate official specs, expert consensus, and real user feedback from hundreds of sources.
- Compare — Every article puts products side-by-side with clear specs tables, pros/cons, and "best for" verdicts.
- Update — Prices and products change. We keep articles current with 2026 pricing and new model releases.
Who Writes This
Runner's Picks is written by runners who are also gear nerds. We've logged thousands of kilometres with GPS watches on our wrists, tested shoes from 5K to ultramarathon distances, and tried every recovery tool that promises faster legs. We write what we'd tell a friend who asks "what should I buy?"
